SASSA will probably be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed with regard to the substantial variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to SRD reach-out to the substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area every day. The assistance stage made for intervention experiences a large inflow of sassa potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for your office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to permit the servicing of all prospects and improve entry status sassa to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
